What adapter do I need to mount a skid steer attachment to my Bobcat MT?

Use the Bobcat MT to Full Size Skid Steer Adapter from SmithCustomz ($795). It lets you mount any universal quick-attach skid steer attachment to a Bobcat MT52, MT55, MT85, or MT100.

What adapter do I need for a Toro Dingo or CII?

The Toro Dingo/CII to Full Size Skid Steer Adapter ($795) lets you run standard full-size skid steer attachments on a Dingo-style mount. Built to order in our Illinois shop.

Do I need an adapter for a full-size skid steer?

No. Full-size skid steers use the universal quick-attach mounting standard. Every Skid Steer Nation attachment we carry bolts straight on. Just verify your machine's hydraulic flow (standard 15-25 GPM or high 26-40 GPM) before buying a powered attachment.

Can I mount a skid steer attachment to a Kubota KX excavator?

Not with an off-the-shelf adapter at the moment. Our Kubota KX Quick Mount Bucket Ears weld onto a bucket or attachment so it hangs on the Kubota quick-coupler instead. Email zach@smithcustomz.com with your KX model and we will confirm the best path.

Skid Steer Adapter & Attachment Finder

Pick your machine below. We'll show you the adapter you need (if any) and every attachment that'll work with it.

Step 1 — What are you running?

Full-Size Skid Steer — you're already on the universal mount

Good news: full-size skid steers use the universal quick-attach mounting standard. That means no adapter needed — every attachment on our site bolts straight on. Just check hydraulic flow before you buy a powered attachment.

Hydraulic flow guidance

Standard flow (15–25 GPM): Most older machines. Stick to standard-flow attachments.
High flow (26–40 GPM): Newer Bobcat S/T-series, Cat 299D, Deere 333G, Kubota SVL95/97. Can run both high-flow and standard-flow attachments.

Compatible attachments — all of them

Trenchers — Bigfoot 900 (standard flow) & 1200 XD (high flow)
Grapples — Dominator, Rake, Rock Bucket, Tree Puller
Augers & Bits — Standard and high-flow Digga drives
Hydra-Buckets — 60", 66", 72", 78", 84" widths
Brush Cutters & Brooms
DuraGraders — SSF, SSHA, SSMA
Land Levelers & Hydra-Leveler
MTW Power Rakes
XR Rippers
Demo-Dozer 6-in-1
Trailer Hitches — built in our Illinois shop

Bobcat MT — mini track loader

The Bobcat MT uses a proprietary mount that's narrower than the universal quick-attach standard. To run any full-size attachment, you need an adapter plate. We build them in our Illinois shop.

Bobcat MT Specific Attachments — hay bale spear, tree boom with hitch receiver, swivel post pounder

Full-size attachments compatible with the adapter

Grapples — Rock Bucket, Rake Grapple, Tree Puller (the lighter ones)
Auger Drives — standard-flow only, MT doesn't have high-flow hydraulics
XR Rippers — great for ground breaking on MT
Mini Skid Steer Hydra-Bucket — sized for compact machines
Larger attachments (full-size trenchers, brush cutters, power rakes) require the adapter AND a sufficiently powerful MT (MT85 or MT100 recommended)

Toro Dingo / CII

The Toro Dingo and CII-compatible machines use their own mounting standard. To run full-size or Bobcat MT attachments, you'll need an adapter.

Lighter Grapples (Rock Bucket, Rake Grapple)
Standard-flow auger drives
XR Rippers
Mini Skid Steer Hydra-Bucket
Heavier attachments (full-size trenchers, brush cutters, power rakes) will exceed Dingo's hydraulic and lift capacity — not recommended even with an adapter

Not sure? Text or email Zach with your Dingo model and the attachment you want — we'll confirm hydraulic flow and lift capacity. zach@smithcustomz.com · text 1-815-200-9363

ASV / Terex

Compact ASV machines (RT25–RT75) and Terex track loaders use a non-universal mount. Larger ASVs (PT100+) use the standard universal quick-attach.

Have a larger PT100 or newer ASV with universal quick-attach? Skip the adapter — you can run any full-size attachment directly. Text Zach to confirm. zach@smithcustomz.com · text 1-815-200-9363

Gehl Skid Steers

Most Gehl skid steers use the universal quick-attach mount, but some older models have a proprietary or Bobcat-pattern mount. Verify your model before ordering.
