Bolt-on anchors are the practical choice when you do not want to weld — on an aluminum trailer, a painted deck you would rather not burn, or a rental you cannot modify permanently. The square mount sits flat so straps and chains pull against the plate instead of levering on a single point, and buying ten at once means you can lay out a proper tie-down grid rather than working around two anchors in the wrong place.
