Heavy-duty weld-on spring latch with an extended hardened plunger — a direct B2598LP-style replacement for trailer ramp gates, tailgates, doors, and custom fabrication. Spring-loaded plunger snaps shut and holds tight.
The extended plunger is the useful part: it gives you more engagement depth than a short-pin latch, so the latch still catches reliably on a gate or ramp that has sagged, racked or worn slightly out of square over years of use. That is normally the reason a gate latch stops holding.
